INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ DAY.

I, Comr. Etinyene Friday Offongekpe, NANS zone B Coordinator join the global students community to celebrate International Students’ Day.

This day is observed annually on November 17 to celebrate students and to constantly remind Government on the constitutional right of a student.

Originally the day was set aside to commemorate with the Czech Universities which were stormed by Nazis in 1939 and the students who were subsequently killed and sent to concentration camps.

Today, it is marked by a number of Universities, sometimes on a day other than November 17, as a nonpolitical celebration of the multiculturalism of their International Students.

Therefore, I enjoin all the Nigerian Students to celebrate and participate on every activity for the day while concentrating on their academic activities.

I appreciate the Federal and State Governments for the enabling environment created for Nigerian Students and I appeal for more academic facilities to upgrade Nigeria educational system.

God bless Nigerian Students.

Long live NANS

Long live NIGERIA
