Otuaro’s engagement with Niger Delta stakeholders is a reflection of his leadership capacity and openness – Asonja

…hails President Tinubu for making the right choice for the Niger Delta people

The Ondo State Coordinator of Tantita Security Services, Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja, has commended Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Administrator Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD, for the organisation of interactive engagement with the Niger Delta leaders and stakeholders, described the engagement as a reflection of Otuaro’s leadership capacity and openness.

He hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for making the right choice for the Niger Delta people.

It would be recalled that Chief Otuaro has commenced a 5-day strategic engagement with leaders of the different phase beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme and other key stakeholders with the theme: “Fostering, Consolidating, and Collaborating for the Peace, Security, Stability, and Development of the Niger Delta.”

The stakeholders’ engagement which started on 21st – 25th June, 2024 at KFT Place Along NNPC Housing Complex, Off Airport Road, Warri, Delta State, featured interactive meeting which allowed the various parties to share ideas and challenges facing their areas.

While giving his opening remarks, Chief Otuaro emphasized that a key objective of the meeting was to further understand the challenges facing the people and develop proactive and inclusive solutions. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the educational component of the programme, expanding vocational training and entrepreneurial opportunities, and ensuring placement opportunities for trainees. He also highlighted some of the progress his office has made in this regard.

At the interactive session, they had a robust session filled with collective ideas on advancing and enhancing the programme.

Chief Otuaro expressed his gratitude to the various leaders and stakeholders for their open-mindedness, willingness to share their ideas, and prioritizing the interest of the Beneficiaries and impacted communities.

He said, “together, it’s possible: the gains of this programme will get to every nook and cranny of the Niger Delta.

Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja while speaking with Coastal Renaissance News about the programme, specially thanked President Tinubu for chosen the right man in person of Chief Dennis Otuaro to lead the office of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

He described Chief Otuaro as a noble ambassador of the Niger Delta region who does not need to be told the problems and challenges facing the region, stressed that the people of Niger Delta repose confidence in his leadership ability, capacity and capability to deliver effectively and effectively.

He said that the people of Niger Delta are solidly behind him.

“Our collective support for Chief Otuaro is not for personal gain but because of his transformation programmes for progress and development of the Niger Delta region. Senior High Chief Asonja said.
