NYCN,other Nigerian Youth groups confer Role model honor on Belemaoil Chief Executive Jack-Rich
Nigerian Youth in their numbers, on Saturday declared the Founder/President of Belemaoil Producing Limited (BPL), Tein Jack-Rich, as the Role Model of Nigerian Youth.
Led by the President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ambassador Sukubo Saraigbe Sukubo, the Youth drawn from the Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN), various Ethnic Nationality Youth organisations, including the Arewa Youth Movement, Nigeria Youth Organisation, Igbimo Odo Yoruba, Niger Delta Youth Coalition, Northern Youth Coalition, Arewa Youth Assembly, Middlebelt Youth Movement, National Association of Nigerian Students NANS NANS and others, who stormed Katsina State over the weekend said the came from all the States of the country to associate with Jack-Rich, as his Foundation commences the construction of a multi-million dollar contract for a state-of-the-art mother and child hospital in Daura Emirate of Katsina State.
The project which is to be executed in collaboration with Elizabeth Jack-Rich Aid Foundation, is aimed at eradicating the high maternal and infant death prevalent in the area.
The hospital when completed will have incubators, a theatre, several consulting rooms, at least three Doctors’ quarters, private and open wards , labour room, kitchen.
Jack-Rich assured that the project will meet the health care needs of the community.
Even though not from Daura, Mr Jack-Rich’s philanthropy knows no bound and he is familiar, with the area, where healthcare facility is scarce, that is why the people of the area through their traditional rulers demanded for the facility. In his effect, the project when completed will serve a tremendous relief to the people and reduce the maternal and infant deaths in the community and it’s environs.
There is presently high rate of child death in the community, women trek several kilometers with babies on their back before they can access functional hospital for either treatment of their sick child, antenatal care or delivery, sometimes the babies die before they could get to the hospital, it is a pathetic situation. Hence, the significance of the project.
